THE YOUNGE HOLLYWOOD BLAST is a top-ranked, online publication dedicated to promoting the works of emerging and under-represented content creators in independent entertainment worldwide.

Founded on the Paper.li platform in October 2011 by Natasha Younge, she was invited to become a Brand Ambassador following the publication’s unprecedented Shorty Award award nomination in 2012. Distribution has expanded through on-going social partnerships, which were also instrumental in the Blast’s eventual success at the Shorty Awards ( ’13 & ’14, Ranked #1 in #digitalmedia ).

Initially curated from Natasha’s own social media feeds, the publication now features trends in digital entertainment, highlighting Indie Film, Web Series, Crowdfunding – all while promoting the works of new talent through featured interviews with the Blast’s community members.

However, The Younge Hollywood Blast needs more room to get more of your news out there.  Therefore, Natasha has decided to create this website, and community space online to do just that.

You can follow the journey through this developmental blog. In addition, please connect with our new Patreon page to support our continued growth. You are also welcome to share your news with us as we grow by joining our private Newsmaker community.

Thank you!

Thanks Daniel! The great thing is that I will continue blogging about acting, but in a more streamlined way. I had two blogs on acting – come on now. Whew! It feels great to focus all my energies on this website which will share so much about the entertainment industry as a whole. Exciting stuff… Anyway, back to work I go!
